door. Recommends // NSB Breakbeat Boat Party @ MV London Belle from Tower Pier

Day 2 of door. bank holiday August is pretty special, and takes form as our second recommended boat party of the year for NSB's first ever cruise down the Thames.
NuSkoolBreaks.co.uk is the largest breakbeat online radio show in the world and is headed by Jimmy Breaks, surley one of the hardest working promoters in London always having his next party plan up his sleeves ready to unleash on the underground fans. Favourites this year include Rico Tubbs album launch of Knuckle Sandwich and a dirty disco / breakbeat mash up headed by WeHateYou. This being his first boat party you'd always expect this to be a stonker, but looking at the line it really looks as though Jimmy and NSB are about to pulling out all the stops.

Headlining will be Break Even Records head honchos Groove Diggerz - Everyone in breaks circles have been keeping tight tabs on the Diggerz at the moment as there is real potential there for them to be a huge hit. Winners of ‘Best Breakthrough' at 2007 Breakspolls and nominated in the awards this year in ‘Best DJ' and ‘Best Producer' catagories. They really are enjoying a rocketship to fame. Naturally musically talented and in a previous life as a session drummer, Groove Diggerz productions are full of the funk and warm appealing beats.
Joining the cruise on-board entertainment are a very exciting DJ collective called Apply the Breaks; in total 9 artists and 5 decks - who will display an energetic show of full spectrum broken beats taking happy sailors through a journey of old skool, electro, funk and reggae infused breaks in the medium of cutting, dropping, scratching and other true turntablism tactics. This will be immense! And could possible go down as the set of the weekend.
Adding to the top drawer breaks menu will be firm door. favourite Social's Richie Balboa, who plys his trade through many genres - his focus being electro style breaks, combining funk, house and broken beats to hybrid a face melting, party stomping vibe of music which will be enjoyed by all - guaranteed!
Backed up by Tangy Tom and Mr Bristow this line up will be nothing but flawless, exuberating style, tightly holding down some seriously funked up breaks.

All this and more, as once your back on dry land you can carry on @ Anam bar in Islington for the scheduled after party at no extra cost. Your stub for the boat is your ticket for the follow on (make sure you keep hold of you tickets!) So you can go strong on Day 2 of the best weekend ever, safe in the knowledge theres still another days partying to do!

The boat leaves Tower Pier at 1:30pm sharp and this party will wait for no man! So get there early to avoid disappointment.
Tickets can be bought through door. on our DSI and Facebook pages.

Suck it up kids, go strong or go home...
See you on that dancefloor!
