Over the past 3 years Read The Crowd has forged it’s name across London clubland as an event firmly focused on bringing clubbers the best DJ talent based solely on the DJ’s ability to ‘read the crowd’ Over the years promoter Dave Minns has meticulously booked line ups on the DJ’s reputation and ability in this field whether they be a big name or up n coming talent, if they don’t Read The Crowd they don’t play, simple.

Kicking off in **JANUARY** 2004, Read The Crowd pulled in one of the most diverse DJ line ups over 3yrs always supporting new talent alongside big names such as Drummatic Twins, Chad Jackson, NJoi, Jody Wisternoff (way out west), Jay Cunning, Eren (Sancho Panza) plus they have hosted rooms for Boomslang @ The Cambrigdge Junction, Smartie Partie @ Turnmills, Electrik Circus @ The Key, Papdiso @ The Egg, The Mass and the Networking Central outdoor festivals in 2005, not forgetting the Read The Crowd all night Radio Show on Bestival FM @ Bestival 2006.

For their 3rd birthday Read The Crowd have pulled off possibly there biggest line up to date choosing one of South London’s most exciting venues Hidden in Vauxhall as the location for their celebration! Featuring three rooms of breakbeat, house, electro, old skool, dub and rare groove, plus to give something back to those who’ve supported the event from year dot, the party features the world’s first club event with free bluetooth downloads from the artists and promoters on the night!

Supplying the beats on the night Read The Crowd are bringing together some of their favourite DJ’s, Musicians and Dancers from the last 3 years:

The Main Room focuses on breaks featuring The Drumattic Twins, the very first booking for RTC and they return alongside The Breakfastaz who perform their RTC debut alongside Apply The Breaks on 3 decks, DJ Eskimo of Magnet Men, DJ Whirley & Tom Real from Functional records and The AV Social fame.

In the House Room one of London’s most exciting DJ/ production duos The Cheshire Catz and Rik Parkinson, Pioneer’s own pro DJ return to RTC and we invite some of the freshest names on the London house scene: Dom Kane, 2 Phunked Up, Cubensis, Rasslin, Luke Danger and Billy Gonzalez to join in the celebrations.

Finally The Bar Room starts the night with the ‘Networking Central National House DJ Final’ between 9pm & Midnight. The final features the winners of the Newcastle, London, Brighton, Cambridge and Bournemouth regional heats. Rik Parkinson from Pioneer alongside select judges will be on hand to judge the winner.

From Midnight The Bar Room hosts a mix of the finest RTC party tunes featuring old skool, breaks, house, dub and rare groove provided by RTC favourites Barry Ashworth of the Dub Pistols, Joey G from Raindance, The Woolwyn Lookers, R-Taye and Mister T and Disco Stu from London’s Origin FM.

Onhand through the night will be the lyrical talents of Ken Mac, R-Taye and beatbox/scratch MC Lyrikool Lipz ( Visuals from The Organic Picture Show and NZ Technique will feature in two rooms, Bluetooth downloads from Qwikker to include line ups, wallpapers, logos and ringtones plus firedancers, breakdancers, laser & live percussionists.
